Episode 2: Caring for Kids on the Spectrum

A Night of Superheroes

The Black Rawk Nation welcomed superhero mothers, Danielle Wright, Eboni Hardin, and Zanita Buchanan, that shared their personal journey on the road to caring for children with autism. It takes a tremendous amount of courage and the road can be filled with surprise attacks, racism, under-resourced schools, and communities full of fear or criticism.

For many parents, the peace of knowing and understanding is just a diagnosis away. Early intervention is key! Join the passionate discussion about destigmatizing mental health issues, and let's work together to stop the judgement, grow in acceptance and embrace each other.
