Start an exercise training regime, even if its 15 minutes a day; gradually increase your time weekly if you’re just beginning.
Incorporate regular strength training and cardio sessions for in your weekly training sessions.
Always train harder, or longer, than the day before (depending on what type of session it was).
Listen to your body…If you do not feel 100%, go for moderate walk outside or on the treadmill.
Only do HIIT training when you feeling 100% to 2-3 times per week.
Remember….Fatigue is NOT your enemy. This is how we measure our successes. Train your body to work through fatigue and begin feeling comfortable with that ‘uncomfortable’ feeling. Your body WILL adjust to your demands.
Eat healthy carbs like amaranth, kamut, quinoa, rye and wild rice. Ease back from wheat.
Eat a variety of fruits and vegetables varying in color to optimize nutrient and mineral intake.
If ever on lock down again, fill the house with healthy snacks like seaweed, fruit, and nuts, low sodium organic corn chips, salsa and/or hummus dip.
Play your favorite music, get your head in the game and train! :)
